California University of Pennsylvania

California University of Pennsylvania is replacing all of its on-campus housing.  A development team lead by National Development Company, was engaged to develop, design and build a 1,000-bed residential master plan that creates five unique neighborhoods surrounding the existing student center.

The four story buildings feature breezeway entrances, large window openings, sloped roofs with dormers and all brick facades.  Each bedroom will have a shared or private bath, and all buildings will have a variety of lounge, study, and other community spaces.  One of the buildings is being developed as an Honors Facility and will have live-in faculty and conferencing facilities.

This project is the first of its kind undertaken at any of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education schools.  This housing promises to be state-of-the-art and one the students of CAL U can enjoy for many years to come.
